Optional Insurance

Selecting the correct type and amount of coverage for your property can be an important part of your relocation. Most movers offer three levels of coverage. A brief description of the coverages offered by USA Express is shown below. For more information on coverage options, feel free to contact your sales consultant.

  • Replacement Cost - This is the most comprehensive coverage offered. This coverage provides protection for your property based on full replacement of the damaged item if it is not repairable to its original condition.
  • Actual Cash Value - Often called depreciated value coverage, this level of coverage provides protection for your property based on its current value after taking into consideration its age, condition, depreciation, etc.
  • Released Rate Value - This level of coverage is automatically included in the price of your move unless you choose one of the optional coverages described above. In the event of loss or damage, the amount of any settlement is based on the weight of the item damages multiplied by sixty cents per pound. This level of coverage is very basic and is not intended to provide full replacement value. It works best for those who already have homeowner's or renter's insurance that provides coverage for property in transit.


Auto Transport Services

For some people driving across the country is a great adventure. For others it's an experience they would rather forget. If you prefer not to drive, our auto transport service is a convenient, cost-effective way to move your car to your new location. We can also transport your motorcycle, ATV, snowmobile and certain boats as well


Piano Moving

Pound for pound, pianos are heavy. They can also be very valuable. Our crews are experienced and well trained in handling pianos. In addition, we utilize third-party piano moving experts for specialty piano handling needs (e.g. grand piano take-down/set-up)
