USA Express Moving provides a wide array of local moving services. These services fall generally within two categories:


Residential Moving

Local residential moving in its most basic form is limited to removing your possessions from your old home, loading them on the truck, transporting them, unloading them off the truck, and placing them into your new home. This basic service includes a truck, all standard moving equipment and supplies (pads, dollies, etc.) and at least two movers (the number of movers recommended is dependent on the size of the move and should be discussed in advance with your sales associate).

In addition to the basic "load, ship, unload" service, there are a number of optional services we also offer for customers with specialized requirements or simply to make your move easier.

Packing

Probably the most frequently requested optional service is packing. This service involves preparing and packing small items for shipment. Proper packing is critical to ensuring your belongings arrive at their new destination unharmed. The cost of packing and unpacking services are dependent on the amount and type of items packed - items of high value and/or fragile items (e.g. electronics, china, crystal, etc) generally cost more to pack than those items that are low in value and/or simple to pack (e.g. books, toys, plastic-wares, etc).

Storage

Storage services are often a necessary component of many moves. We offer both short-term and long-term storage. The cost of storage is dependent on the size of the shipment and the length of storage. While in storage, your possessions will be fully inventoried and packed in storage vaults. Storage vaults are used to ensure your items remain secure, clean, and readily retrievable for delivery. If your move requires either short-term or long-term storage, please be sure to discuss this with your sales associate. He or she will be happy to provide you with a very competitive quote.

Piano Moving

They're expensive, they're heavy, they often have great sentimental value, and they can be extraordinarily difficult to move. Unless of course, you have the right equipment, training, and people to do the job properly. Whether you are moving a piano by itself or it is part of an entire household move, this service requires special handling and often calls for specialized equipment. Our moving associates are trained in the proper handling of all types of pianos and use specialized dollies, straps, piano boards, and pads to ensure they are transported in a safe and secure manner. If a piano is part of your move, please be sure to discuss this with your sales associate.


Commercial and Office Relocation

Commercial and office relocation often requires specialized packing and handling, compressed timeframes, or overnight scheduling. Although many commercial and office moves are limited to a "load, ship, and unload" service, the inherent nature of these moves makes each one unique. We strongly encourage scheduling an on-site survey to assess any specialized needs and to provide a more accurate quote.
